Created for a charity on the Isle of Mull, this design is complemented by a CMS system that allows the charity to easily change all the text and photographs on the site.
The Argyll Hotel on Iona had developed their own site design with high end interactive requirements. Bringing the site to realisation using flash and javascript required balancing usability with design and interactivity with speed, by leveraging the power of the Jquery javascript library.
After a total redesign of this charity web site it was then recreated using a Content Management System. The CMS will allow any of the charities directors or volunteers to add content to the site without worrying about technical issues.
This design for an artists' web site was produced totally in Flash to create the level of interaction and animation required by the site owner.

As part of their project to encourage visitors to discover the history and landscape of the Ross of Mull, ROMHC commissioned UII to produce 2 outdoor interpretive panels that include walking maps and skyline views.
A large interpretive panel for the entrance of Highland Renewals' Tireragan estate was designed by UII, printed then mounted on 3mm aluminium and encased in resin to withstand the Mull climate.
ROMHC wrote seven booklets that guided visitors through the history and landscape of the Ross of Mull. UII designed the covers and layout for that series then distilled the booklets down into a single large format full colour book, both of which are continuing to provide valuable funding for the project.
UII designed a full color digital only book which Highland Renewal published through their web site in Adobe Acrobat pdf format.
We also have a large library of photographic images, all taken by UII, specialising in the wildlife and landscape of the Hebrides and birds and Mull in particular. Many of these images have been used in clients interpretive projects and available as stock images for a variety of uses as well as self published booklets.
